What You Get

Audi's Functions on Demand (FoD) program sells software unlocks for hardware already fitted in your e-tron — Matrix LED headlights, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Traffic Sign Recognition, DAB radio and Park Assist. But FoD only works where Audi supports it. If your e-tron was imported, if your country doesn't offer FoD, or if your specific factory configuration was locked, the myAudi app simply shows nothing — no error, no alternative, no purchase path.

This activation fixes that. We unlock all eligible FoD features on your VIN in a single guided remote session, directly at the ECU level — permanently, with no subscription and no dependency on the myAudi app.

What we unlock (subject to VIN eligibility):

Matrix LED Headlights — full adaptive high-beam masking, dynamic cornering light, motorway beam
Smartphone Interface — Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (wired; wireless on MMI software 2711+)
Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) — live speed limits and warning signs in the Virtual Cockpit
DAB / DAB+ Digital Radio — enables the DAB tuner chip already present in the MIB3 head unit
Park Assist / Park Assist Plus — semi-autonomous parking, parallel and perpendicular

Compatibility is confirmed per VIN before any payment is taken. If your e-tron is not eligible for a specific feature, we tell you before the session — not after.

How It Changes Behavior

From factorythe myAudi app shows "not available in your region", the Audi Connect Store lists no features for your VIN, or specific hardware-backed features remain absent despite the hardware being present in the car — there is no official purchase path.

After activationMatrix, Smartphone Interface, TSR, DAB and Park Assist (where eligible per VIN) are permanently unlocked at the ECU level — VIN-bound, no subscription required. If a dealer update ever resets any item, just rerun the app at no extra charge.

If FoD is available and fully functional for your vehicle, but you choose to use RetroLab Pro instead, you do so at your own discretion.
