Matrix LED activation for supported 2024–2026 Audi models is now available via the RetroLab Pro app — same price as 2018–2023. SFD must be unlocked on the vehicle first. No SFD access? A guided remote session handles everything.
What is SFD?
SFD (Secure Feature Distribution) is a security layer on 2024+ Audi vehicles that protects the vehicle's control modules from unauthorised changes.
Before RetroLab Pro can perform the Matrix activation on a 2024+ vehicle, SFD must be temporarily unlocked on one unit. This opens a 90-minute window during which the module accepts OEM-level activation. Once the window closes, SFD automatically re-engages — the security layer is not permanently altered.
