The Q5 FY's power tailgate gets used constantly — groceries, sports gear, kids' equipment. Being able to close it remotely is a genuine quality-of-life improvement.
After activation:
- Key fob closing — Press once to close the tailgate from normal remote range. Walk to the driver's door while the tailgate closes behind you.
- Interior button — One-touch close, works with and without ignition
- Everyday convenience — On an SUV that gets loaded and unloaded multiple times a day, remote closing saves time on every single use
This is one of those activations where you wonder why it was not enabled from the factory.
