Activation is fully OEM-style and runs through the RetroLab Pro app.
How It Changes Behavior
From factorythe Q5 tailgate only closes while the key fob button is held down, and the car must be within close range during the entire press.
After activationone quick press on the key fob (or on the dashboard tailgate switch) sends the full close command, and the tailgate closes on its own from any sensible remote distance.
