You have seen YouTube videos and forum threads about coding Audis — enabling hidden features, changing settings, unlocking functions. It looks straightforward. But is it actually safe to do yourself? The honest answer depends entirely on what tool you use and what you are trying to do.

What Does "Coding" Actually Mean?

When people say "coding" an Audi, they usually mean one of two things:
