The Audi Q5 FY is the best-selling Audi in the United States. From the 2021 model year onward, US-spec Q5 vehicles with the Technology Package include factory Matrix LED hardware — installed but software-locked before delivery. Which Q5 Model Years Are Supported?

Matrix headlight activation is available on 2021, 2022, and 2023 US-spec Audi Q5 FY vehicles.

The 2021 model year marked the B9.5 facelift for the US market, which introduced Matrix LED headlights as an available option on the Q5 for the first time. If your Q5 was built before 2021, the Matrix headlight hardware is not present and activation is not possible.

Required: factory Matrix LED headlights (PR-code 8G4). Check your window sticker or myAudi app — if "Matrix LED Headlights" or "Technology Package" is listed as an option, you almost certainly have PR-code 8G4.
