What You Get

Audi A5 F5 Facelift trims with Audi Sound System (PR-9VD) ship with only Bass and Treble exposed in the MMI. The subwoofer plays underneath the music every drive, but its level is locked to whatever Audi pre-mixed — which on the sportier F5 cabin tends to feel either too soft on the motorway or too thick at low volume. This activation unhides the dedicated Subwoofer slider through a guided, VIN-specific OEM workflow in RetroLab Pro, with no dealer visit, no remote coding, and no manual scripts.

How It Changes Behavior

From factorythe MMI Sound menu shows only Bass and Treble. The F5's subwoofer is wired and active, but there's no way to tune it against the rest of the system from inside the cabin.
