The e-tron GE's electric drivetrain means virtually zero engine noise at any speed. This changes the audio experience fundamentally — every detail of your music is more audible, including the subwoofer.
After activation, your e-tron gains a Subwoofer slider in the MMI Sound settings:
- Critical for an EV — without engine noise masking the low end, subwoofer levels that feel balanced in a combustion car can feel overpowering or underwhelming in an EV
- Independent control from the Bass slider — fine-tune the subwoofer specifically
- Speed-sensitive relevance — at low speeds the e-tron is nearly silent, making precise subwoofer control more important than in any other Audi
