The A5 F5 Sportback's large hatchback-style tailgate is one of the most practical features of the car. Being able to close it remotely makes it significantly more convenient.
After activation:
- Key fob closing — Single press on the tailgate button closes the tailgate from normal remote range
- Interior button — Changes to one-touch operation, works with and without ignition
- No holding required — Both methods become single-press operations
This is especially practical when you have loaded the car and want to close the tailgate while walking to the driver's door, or when closing from inside the car.
