How to Activate Dynamic Blinkers & Taillight Animation on Audi Q5 FY

The Q5 FY activation is unique because it includes both dynamic blinkers and taillight animation:

• Dynamic Turn Signals — Instead of the standard blinking indicators, the turn signals sweep outward in a flowing motion. This is the signature Audi look that comes standard on higher-end models.
• Taillight Animation — Welcome and goodbye light sequences that play when you lock and unlock the vehicle. An animated sequence sweeps through the rear taillights.
• S-style Animation — The taillight animation follows the S-line animation pattern

This is a combined activation that transforms the rear appearance of your Q5. Both features are enabled together in a single guided session.

The Q5 FY activation is one of the most comprehensive taillight activations available:

Many Q5 models come with LED taillights (PR codes 8VG or 8VM) that physically support dynamic lighting — but from the factory, only static indicators and standard on/off behavior are enabled.

RetroLab Pro performs a full activation that enables both the dynamic turn signal animation and the welcome/goodbye sequences.
