Audi Q5 FY Matrix Headlights Canada — 2021, 2022 & 2023 Activation Guide

Matrix headlight activation is available on 2021, 2022, and 2023 Canadian-spec Audi Q5 FY vehicles.

The 2021 model year marked the B9.5 facelift for the North American market, which introduced Matrix LED headlights as an available option on the Q5 for the first time. Canadian and US Q5 vehicles are the same NAR (North American Region) build — the Matrix hardware restriction applies equally to both markets.

Required: factory Matrix LED headlights (PR-code 8G4). Check your window sticker or myAudi app — if "Matrix LED Headlights" or "Technology Package" is listed, you almost certainly have PR-code 8G4.
